Hello my name is Mike Homan I am a U.S. Coast Guard fully insured, and licensed Captain. I have been fishing bluegills and gamefish on small inland lakes since I was 4. I grew as a fisherman and began exploring the rich fishing opportunities that we have in our great state including chasing muskies, walleyes, salmon and trout on many bodies of water. I have been tournament fishing salmon and trout on Lake Michigan for the last 10 years. The Blackout Outdoors fishing team and I have won multiple tournaments and placed high in many derbies.
On the water I work very hard to catch fish and will do everything I can to make sure you have a fun and enjoyable experience. My main profession is teaching and coaching. I enjoy teaching new fishermen and women how to catch fish. If you are new to sportfishing or an experienced angler I would love the opportunity to show you what our great fisheries have to offer.
